Bristol Backgammon

30 Grand Prix (GP30)

The background

Inaugurated in 2013, this was a series of four knock-out events per year, each with an entry fee of 30.
This entry fee is targeted at those players who enjoy playing for larger stakes than are available in most Bristol Backgammon events.
The four events formed a grand prix similar to other Bristol Backgammon grand prix series already in existence, with similar rules, including two flights of knock-out, but with 9- and 7-point matches.
By 2019 there were as many as eight events in the series.
